StressGuard™ is a high-quality slime-coat protection conditioner designed to protect fish during stressful situations such as moving or netting. It helps lower ammonia toxicity and attaches to damaged tissue, promoting healing while reducing the chance of infections.

The formula works with most aquarium medications (except copper-based treatments) and will not interfere with Purigen® or HyperSorb™ regeneration. Unlike many similar products, it does not clog filters or coat resins.

How It Works

StressGuard™ contains protein-active colloids that locate wounds, abrasions, and exposed tissue. They bond directly to these areas, delivering disinfectant and forming a protective “liquid bandage” to support recovery.

Many bag-additive products are acidic and may harm fish in small containers. StressGuard™, with a neutral pH of 7.0, will not alter aquarium pH — even when used at higher doses.
